Occasional research seminar jointly organised by the Institute for the Study of Science, Technology and Innovation and the Usher Institute of Population Health Sciences and Informatics within the Global Digital Exemplar (GDE) Evaluation Programme.

Research Workshop: International perspectives on emerging health information infrastructures
Speakers: Margunn Aanestad and Ole Hanseth from the University of Oslo, School of Informatics
 
Presentations from two internationally leading health informatics scholars will review over core aspects of the health information infrastructure (HII) at national, regional and local level. They will also describe several initiatives to establish national "platforms" and describe emerging challenges related to these multiple, intersecting, public-private platform-based infrastructures. Each presentation will be followed by 30 minutes of discussion.
